we can turn this into a contest of sorts. Any suggestions i use from any of my followers ill send a little something something to! So lets start brainstormin together folks I really want to get this done so i can make videos with more ease!
Thanks you guys!
Hales

  1. I use Sterilie storage drawers. They're inexpensive, and they're stackable. You can get them at Target and WalMart.

  3. Hi Haley, I wanted to go drawerless but in the end the thought of dusting everything regularly put me off. I went for wooden IKEA cassette/CD drawers and decorated them myself. I have a lot of loose pigments so I was going to stack those in a clear plastic/glass container so I could look through and see the colours. Wooden cigar boxes for pencils, and small wicker/ratan baskets for everything else. I don't have palettes but if I did I'd try and store them on their side in a rack. Hope that gives you a few ideas :)

  5. You can use those wooden ikea draws. You can either decorate them with classy paper or leave then the way they are. I think they look way better then the plastic A4 drawers.

  6. I hear you. I moved into my house a year ago and I still don't have a good set up for my makeup. My fiance is making me a makeup armoire (or however you spell it) but until then, I have the crappy rubbermaid drawers :-/ Don't do that unless you have you!

I really like the idea of using cigar boxes that you can decorate! Also, maybe make the Sephora style brush holders? I went to AC Moore yesterday and got the stuff to make 'em, and it was $8 and looks a lot nicer than when I had them all crammed in a big jar. They had a lot of different glass jars that looked really cool, and lots of different colored sand. You could even mix colors of sand if you wanted to.

  7. get one of those magazine rack type organizer things- the ones with a few slots- to put your palettes in. it works great!

This is a good idea that I found a while back. I looked at the walmart website to see if I could find the actual product for you, but I couldn't. :( If you like the idea I'm sure you'll be able to find something like it. :)

Sorry if this isn't what you're looking for. I just stack my palettes on my desk, but I'm sure you have way more than I do.

  10. For one thing I got the baby formula can and took all the papper off and just made it look more nice and put things and sayings on it. The look nice to hold things. Or the 1.oo store has cute 3 layer boxs that can fit a lot.
